When a user does not have anything other than viewing rights on a form the fields are grayed out. I assume from your response in the previous topic that this is the normal/desired effect. The gray background in the field is OK, but I think it would be much easier to read the information in the fields if the lettering remained black. In the older versions of AutoEDMS the fields did not change color, but the security was there and they could not edit fields, but it was still easy on the eyes.
Is there a setting for this, or some other way to retain good readability while still restricting access to a "viewing only" level?
