Instructions for Searching can be found below the Search box.
Instructions for SearchingBasic Searching: Enter a key word, multiple key words, or a phrase to search for. Then select the "Match" criteria, and pick [Search]. The search engine will display a list of matching articles, with better matches shown first. Each item in the results list is a link to a matching article document - to read the article, simply pick the highlighted article "question". Listing ALL Available Articles: If you prefer to look through a complete list of all Tech Support Articles, you can search using an asterisk ( * ) as the key word, with a "Match" criteria of of "Any word". Finding Btrieve Errors: To search for articles related to the exact Btrieve error you're experiencing, enter the words "Btrieve error" followed by the error number, similar to the following: Btrieve error 2. For the "Match" criteria, select "All words" - this criteria should yield articles that match the error you're searching for (these will be at the top of the results list), as well as some articles that may be related but not exactly what you're looking for.
Finding Other Errors: To find articles about other error messages that don't include the word "Btrieve", enter two or more of the more unique words from the error message. Then for the "Match" criteria, select "Exact phrase", which should yield articles about the error message you're experiencing. Searching the Release Notes: If your search returns the AutoEDMS "Release Notes" document as an article, you can find your key word(s) in the Release Notes document by using the "Find (on This Page)" feature of your web browser, which is generally located on the Edit menu.
